Richard Grant joined Spruson & Ferguson in 2003 with more than 20 years experience in research and development, particularly in the fields of organic and polymer chemistry.

Richard holds a PhD in organic chemistry and a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours from the University of Sydney, along with a MBA specialising in technology management from Deakin University. He worked as a research scientist in the CSIRO Division of Applied Organic Chemistry and subsequently held a number of R&D related roles in industry, most recently in China as a senior development specialist for a multinational silicone producer.

Richard has valuable experience in strategic technology development, having led teams through the process of commercialisation and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian
Chemical Institute.
