Greg Gurr specialises in the fields of mechanical patents and registered designs. He acts across a broad range of industries including aerospace, automotive, mining, medical devices, sporting goods, manufacturing and consumer products.

He joined the firm in 1996, after working as an industrial consultant in the manufacturing and processing industries. Prior to this, he had served as an Aeronautical Engineering Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force where he gained particular experience in aircraft maintenance, structures and materials.

He has both Bachelor and Master degrees in Aeronautical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mathematics. Greg became a Principal of the firm in 1999, and acts for many Australian and overseas clients.

Greg currently serves as a Councillor of the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia.
