David Griffith is the Managing Principal of SPRUSON & FERGUSON. He is an experienced patent and trade mark attorney.

David joined the firm in 1974, and has been involved in all aspects of major patent and trade mark matters throughout his career.

David is a Vice President and Fellow of the Institute of Patent Attorneys of Australia; and a member of the Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriete Industrielle (AIPPI), Federation Internationale des Conseils en Propriete Industrielle (FICPI), Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA), European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA) and the Licensing Executives Society (LES). He regularly attends the conferences of International Associations and is active on various committees.

David’s professional appointments include President of FICPI’s Contact Commission and a member of the Council. He was an Australian delegate to the FICPI Executive Committee 1983–90 and is currently a member thereof.
